Description

Aluminium cylinder 65mm Ø x 50mm high drilled with hole to side to take up to 7mm thermometer (not Supplied). The substance for which the melting point is required is sprinkled thinly on the block and the cylinder is gently heated over a Bunsen flame. The temperature at which the substance melts is recorded from the thermometer.
