Ampere’s Law Apparatus

Description

This set combines durable Flat Coils Molded in Plastic which is hardened with a curing resin to prevent the coil’s wire from fraying, providing long life. Included are a set of nine small compasses and an E-shaped pedestal for an experiment to demonstrate a magnetic field, the phenomenon of Ampere’s Law. Students can observe the magnetic flux generated by the current flowing through the coil depending on the direction of the pointers of the small compasses on the pedestal.

The set contains all the items necessary for the experiment, making it easy for teachers to plan students’ experiments for Ampere’s law, which is the magnetic flux generated by a current flowing in a coil. In addition, other experiments like electromagnetic induction based on Faraday’s law can be applied by taking advantage of this coil’s characteristics (ie, its small size, lightweight, durability, and the number of windings).
