Electrostatic High-Voltage Genecon
$276.20 excl. GST
Description
Reviewed and acclaimed by the U.K.’s Institute of Physics (IOP), this device is similar to traditional Van De Graaf Generators used for electrical discharge experiments and at a lower cost.
Gently turn the handle to generate more than 10,000V of high voltage static electricity! A wide range of static electricity experiments is possible with the six accessories. Until now, high-voltage static electricity generators (Van De Graff Generators – Cat. No. 42VDG400) were required to carry out electrical discharge experiments with the Hamilton flywheel, Moore’s motor and metal collecting electrodes. The new, inexpensive Electrostatic High-Voltage Genecon now allows these experiments to be performed in the classroom with greater ease and less cost.
