Lever & Pendulum Apparatus

Description

This apparatus allows students to experiment with both applications as it includes a lever unit, a pendulum unit, weights and a steel stand. The lever unit has numbered holes on it to hook weights, while the pendulum unit has a semi-circular protractor for measuring the angle of pendulum swing. An adjusting knob allows adjustment of the length of the pendulum thread. The has a convenient collapsible storage function especially for schools (Lever unit can be fixed vertically on the stand & pendulum has a tidy reel for the thread). Includes instructions for two experiments.
Experiments include
– lever unit: “Motion of Force” such as the correlation between fulcrum point and point of effort/load or moment of force.
– pendulum unit: “Pendulum motion” such as correlation between the length of thread with weight and the cycle, as well as, energy conversion of potential/kinetic energy.
