World’s Simplest Motor

Description

Wrap the wire around a D-cell battery, scrape the ends, and the coil is ready to go in one of the world’s simplest motors to build. The blister carded package includes everything (except battery) to have the motor together and working in a very short time. The principles of magnetism can be demonstrated as the coil becomes energized in each rotation and pushes against a mounted ceramic magnet with enough energy to keep it spinning. Additional experiments are suggested for hours of fun and learning.
