A set of four metal calorimeter blocks for investigating specific heat capacity and comparing the thermal properties of different materials. The set includes aluminium, iron, brass and copper blocks, together with an immersion heater for practical physics experiments.

• Each block has a heater hole of approximately 12 mm diameter and a separate thermometer hole
• Includes an immersion heater with a 10 mm outside diameter, designed to insert approximately 75 mm into the block

Compatibility Note

Older individual calorimeter heater blocks with larger heater holes are available separately while stocks last: aluminium (43CHBA), copper (43CHBC) and brass (43CHBR). Check the dimensions and heater fit before mixing components from different versions.

Safety Note

Use the immersion heater only with a suitable power supply and under appropriate laboratory supervision. Heater, block and connections may become hot during use.
