This LCD Digital IR Infrared Thermometer displays surface temperature using IR non-contact technology.

May be used for measuring surface temperatures in a range of experiments. such as:

• Y13 Biology preference investigations with live insects (slater’s/worms/meal worms/ wax moths etc).
  where fast measurements are advantageous.
• Earth Sciences experiments using heat lamps on various types of sand and soil (white sand, iron sand, potting mix, clay etc) to measure and compare heating capacity, heating rates and cooling rates.
