Electric Energy Meter

This new Electric Energy Meter has a combined voltmeter and ammeter which allows measurement and display of the electric power passing through it per hour. Suitable experiments are comparison of energy consumption of lamps connected to hand-held DC generators, or, comparison between (theoretical) potential energy and actual consumed power by a hand-held DC generator at the Input terminal and a hand-held DC generator with pulley (Genecon DUE with Pulley – Cat. 42GDP) at the Output terminal, etc. The meter has a simple interface and the added capability to log readings. When connected to a PC via USB, the logged measurements can be downloaded using the software included with the meter.
