Introductory Organic Molecular Model Set – 49 Atoms
Introductory Organic Molecular Model Set – 49 Atoms
SKU:41MM001
Introductory Organic Molecular Model Set for teaching molecular structure, chemical bonding and organic chemistry in school and tertiary science laboratories. The set contains 49 atom parts and 62 links for constructing a wide range of molecular structures.
Colour-coded atom parts represent hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, halogen, nitrogen and sulphur. Different bonding positions and geometries help students visualise valency, molecular structure and the spatial arrangement of atoms within molecules.
What's Included
- 21 × white hydrogen atoms – 17 mm, 1 hole
- 12 × black carbon atoms – 23 mm, 4 holes, tetrahedral 109.5°
- 7 × red oxygen atoms – 23 mm, 2 holes, angular 105°
- 6 × green halogen atoms – 17 mm, 1 hole
- 2 × blue nitrogen atoms – 23 mm, 3 holes, pyramidal 107°
- 1 × yellow sulphur atom – 23 mm, 2 holes, angular 105°
