IEC Laboratory Water Bath for Hotplates

This laboratory water bath is designed for use with a compatible IEC hotplate to provide gentle, indirect heating for school science and biology experiments. It can accommodate two compatible test tube racks, making it useful for warming samples and carrying out classroom investigations.

The bath has adjustable end supports that slide down to rest on the workbench for stability and slide up to reduce its size for storage. It can also be used as a dry oven when operated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Temperature Control

The optional thermostat controller attaches to the edge of the bath and controls the connected hotplate to help maintain a steady water temperature. Without the thermostat, the hotplate's heat regulator can be adjusted for approximate temperature control, but it will not provide the same level of regulation.
